Act II
"With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls,
For stony limits cannot hold love out,
And what love can do, that dares love attempt:
Therefore thy kinsmen are no stop to me." (II.ii.66-69)
The reason that I chose this quote as being most significant for Act II is because it shows how strong a role love has throughout the play. It shows that "stony limits cannot hold out love" (II.ii.67) which signifies that the love between Romeo and Juliet cannot be breached by anything, and that they will do anything to be together, regardless of the consequences. This quote is significant to the play because it represents the major role of love struggle throughout the play.
