Act V
"A glooming peace this morning with it brings,
The sun for sorrow will not show his head.
Go hence to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Juliet and her Romeo." (V.iii.305-310)
The reason that I chose this quote as being most significant for Act V because it is the closing quote and brings the end of the play. It also ends the foreshadowing earlier on in the play when the Prince said, "Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace."(I.i.91). I think that this quote is a good quote in which to end the play.
